Amanda Horne is an accredited organisational coach, executive coach and facilitator. Drawing from 35 years of experience, Amanda brings a collaborative, respectful and supportive style which encourages clients to engage safely in reflective conversations which lead to learning, exploration, insights, enhanced perspectives, new behaviours and improved performance. She uses a strengths-based, solutions-focused approach combined with adult learning theory, adult development theory, executive coaching frameworks and leadership theories and frameworks. By working closely with her clients Amanda tailors approaches and designs flexible coaching and facilitation programs which support her clients’ requirements.
Background: Amanda established her Canberra-based business in 2003. Her career commenced in the early 1980s when she joined Ernst & Young, with whom she worked for over 20 years in Australia, UK, USA and Canada. After a short stint in auditing, senior management roles included change management, technology and knowledge management implementation programs, influencing stakeholder relationships across the firm, coaching and mentoring staff and partners, and facilitating training programs.
